Gerlach at charity Ride for the Roses
On Sunday 5th of September the thirteenth version of the Ride for the Roses will take place in the city of Venlo. A team of Gerlach employees will participate in this event.
The Ride for the Roses is a well-known name in the meantime. A unique formula is the main reason for the success of the Ride for the Roses. Having fun with each other in a sporty, healthy way, and at the same time doing something against cancer.
In 1998 the starting shot was given in Amsterdam for the first Ride of the Roses. In the past years several well-known Dutch sportspeople like, Jan Janssen, Joop Zoetemelk, Peter Post, Jan Bos and Leontien van Moorsel already participated in the ride.
By recruiting funds, the KWF organisation is able to do research and to give information in the battle to achieve, less cancer cases, a better chance on recovery as well as a better quality of life for people with cancer and their families. Besides this it is very important to debate about the consequences of this illness.
